General Terms and Conditions for all Tours 

• All tours are conducted by local experts holding an official *Austria Guide* certificate.
• All guides speak fluent English and German.
• The group price includes the planning and organization of the tour program as well as expert guidance.
• The price includes taxes or the reverse charge mechanism, where applicable.
• Entrance fees and other additional costs are not included.
• Payment must be made by bank transfer or in cash, as agreed, no later than 8 days before the start of the tour. An invoice with bank details will be provided.
• Participation in any tour is at the participant’s own risk.
• Unexpected costs that were not included in the price will be charged after the tour.

General Terms and Conditions for Culinary Tours

• The agreed price applies to a group of 2–15 persons.
• The final group size can be confirmed free of charge up to 8 days before the tour.
• Tasting fees are charged per person. These costs apply even if the group size changes at short notice.
• Allergies or intolerances must be communicated prior to the tour.
• The organizer assumes no liability for health issues, allergic reactions, or any other impairments arising from individual intolerances or allergies of participants during the tour.

Vouchers and Redemption

• Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue.
• After this period has expired, any applicable price changes or increases may be charged to the customer.
• Vouchers can only be redeemed after full payment of the invoice amount has been received.

Gratuities

• Gratuities for restaurants, partner establishments, and culinary stops are not included in the tour price
• Giving a gratuity is at the discretion of the participants and is always appreciated by the hosts, but not obligatory.

General Terms and Conditions for Bike Tours

• The maximum group size for bike tours is 15 persons per guide.
• For groups larger than 15 persons, a second guide is required to ensure safety and quality.
• Participation in a tour is at the participant’s own risk.
• Bike tours take place in all weather conditions; please bring appropriate clothing.
• If the weather is too rainy, the tour will take place as a city walk instead.
• Refunds for bike rentals are not possible.

General Cancellation Policy for All Tours

• Cancellations are free of charge up to 8 days before the tour date.
• After that, cancellation fees apply as follows:
• 8 to 2 days before the tour: 50%
• 2 to 1 day before the tour: 90%
• On the day of the tour: 100%
• Delays are counted as part of the total tour duration.

Acknowledgment and Reviews

• Tips for tour guides and drivers are always appreciated but not obligatory.
• Salzburg Experience customers typically tip between 5% and 15% of the tour price, depending on the duration and quality of the experience.

• The liability of the Austria Guide is limited to the agreed tour fee.
• Participation in a guided tour is at the participant’s own risk.
